Cheat Codes

Start the game by running the game from your RUN menu with: "C:GameFoldershift.exe" -console

Now you can bring down the console command box at any time during the game with the ~ key (tilde). Now before loading a map or game, you must open your console and type "sv_cheats 1" (excluding ""). Alternatively you may place the command in your "C:GameFolderconfig.cfg" file with notepad, so it will be automatically set next time you open the game.

Use the following commands (excluding ""):

"god" - God Mode

"noclip" - NOCLIP Mode : Fly through walls

"impulse 101" - Gives all weapons

"sv_gravity x" - Adjusts Gravity where when X = 800 the game uses default gravity and when X = 0 there is no gravity.

"sv_accelerate x" - Adjusts air acceleration so you move more when you jump. Default = 10 but increase for more effective bunnyhopping :)

"skill x" - Adjusts skill in-game, 1 = Easiest, 3 = Hardest.

"map x" - Replace X with one of the following maps:

Combat Boost

When you are transported to the alien world, find the round puddles and stand in them. In many encounters, you can save your butt by standing in them and fighting. They supply infinite health and when you are injured they will slowly raise your health, therefore, you will not take as much damage. (Note there is one encounter that will almost require you to do this unless you are an exelent player and/or you have full suit health)

Turn off the Flashlight

To turn off the flashlight, pause the game and hit your flashlight key.

Where did Gordon come from?!

Firstly, activate the console, bring it up during gameplay and type in the third person command into the console. Notice something? Instead of playing as Barney the security guard in the third person, it's Gordon Freeman!

Third Person

Firstly, activate the console. Then, bring it up during gameplay and type in /thirdperson. You can now play Blue Shift in the third person.
